Almost every time I open my phone case I'm presented with AI Search.
How do I stop this happening please?

UPDATE -
After much searching I found AI Search in the System Apps and took a screen shot
I tried Force Stop, but that had no effect and I'm not sure there are any other settings on that screen that I can change.
Is there any way to stop this annoying feature?
Thanks
Pete

Welcome to Android Central! Does this go away in Safe Mode? https://safemodewiki.com/how-to-enable-safe-mode-on-huawei-p10-lite/. If so, then it's due to some 3rd party app you installed, either on purpose or unwittingly.

Thanks very much for your replies.
I've since discopvered it's part of the Huwawi suite of bloatware.
I don't use any 3rd party apps - I just use it as a phone and to send/receive txt msgs - occasionally a photo - and that's it.
If my finger touches the screen and moves up - that causes AI Search to come up, so it's something I do when I open the (magnetic) phone case.
I tried remving the phoine from the case and it still happens.

So I think it's a 'gesture' (?) - my finger touching the screen then moving up slightly.
I have no use for AI Search or all the other pages of 'stuff' that have appeard on my phone over the years.

So is there a way I can change the settings so that if i touch the screen and my finger moves upward this AI Search does not appear?

Many thanks

Do you see an option to "Show System" in the Settings>Apps menu? AI Search might be considered a system app.

Cheers Diddy- If I go to Settings/Apps & Notifications the options are-
Notifications Management
Permissions
Default Apps
App Twin
Notifications & status bar

That's it

If I go to Settings/System there is no mention of Apps on that screen

There should be a system settings menu that shows you all of the apps that are installed -- that's where you would need to look for an option to Show All System Apps.
