Anyone know how to prevent the tablet from automatically checking for system updates? And if not does it just download and prompt you to install or does it do it automatically. I assume if it requires recovery it would prompt you but there are system updates that don't.

Any tips or suggestions.

Unrooted, there is no way to disable system updates. You can delay installing the update, but I'm pretty sure if you power off, it automatically installs when you turn back on. At the least you can only delay it for so long.

Okay.

I unlocked my bootloader but haven't flashed TWRP or rooted. I know if I root and want an ota I can simply restore my stock unrooted twrp backup and then flash the stock Recovery. I figured I'd wait as I'm sure we will see alot of OTA updates with 4.3 being so new.

With it rooted how can I disable them?
