How to disable google fit from Watch

I have been using google fit on my Moto 360 to track steps, heart rate (via 3rd party app), but just found that Moto Body had been updated with google fit integration for sharing stuff like steps, heart rate (without 3rd party), and am giving that a go

I would like to now how to disable the google fit watch app, as I presume with it still active, that will also be counting steps, and therefore draining battery that is not required. I don't seem to be able to access any settings on Google Fit on the watch to be able to disable it

Any ideas?

From the main screen of google fit swipe from the right and tap the top button which turns it off.
