Hello all...I am new to posting and to upgrading from the Samsung Galaxy S (gingerbread) to the S3 (ICS). So, I apologize in advance for asking a redundant question.

1. Has anyone figured out how to disable the shortcuts saved on the home screen after downloading an app from Google Play?
2. Can you change the background image of the App screen only? I've been used to the black background of my Galaxy S app screen to quickly differentiate between the two.

Thanks!
Marcus

Go into the setting for Google play and uncheck the "auto add widgets" box.
