AC Question

Around the first of this month (August 2017) my Galaxy S5 had some sort of update and now has a "charging status" screen whenever it is plugged in to charge. My issue is that when my alarm goes off in the morning it only plays a few notes of the music then goes silent unless I swipe the screen to get rid of the charging status. As soon as I swipe the screen the music continues. This is a Big issue, since this essentially blocks my alarm from working. If I don't hear those first couple of notes and wake up quickly, I will oversleep. I looked through my Apps and don't see it, and I changed the Alarm music but it does the same thing. Every morning.

Does anyone else have this problem, and does anyone know how to remove this charging status screen/app/annoyance?

Mod Note: Thread moved for better visibility. That sounds more like adware, but if not you should be able to go to Settings, Battery and disable the screen.
