How to disable voice buttons

Is there a way to disable voice buttons on Epic 4g? Every time I press power on, I kept press voice buttons on other side. Is there any app that will help disable voice buttons? (still can adjust from inside setting)

you mean volume? those aren't active until the phone is unlocked. Sorry, can you re-explain the issue?

Yes volume buttons. Whether it is locked or unlocked, I want those buttons disabled completely. Is it possible?

The volume buttons on the side can still work when the phone is locked if you are in an app that enables them (i.e. Pandora)

I use no lock and just use the volume buttons to turn on

Bottom line, I just want to disable voice buttons for good.

The reason I want it disable...I want to keep vibration on ALL the time. Yet, I still kept press voice buttons often because of power button on other side. Grrr....

Not that I know of using the native settings menu. Perhaps there is an app that can add this functionality, you need to search the market.
