I know what you mean. I couldn't imagine doing that to mine.

My brother in law works for Sprint corporate office here in Overland Park, KS, as a hardware QC agent, took mine apart like that at his kitchen table last night and repaired my light leak and lifting screen issue with 3 drops of jet glue and was done in about 40 minutes. Didn't look overly complicated.
