How to do a Factory Reset?

OK guys, I am STILL having some intermittent issues after the FROYO update, and I am convinced I need to do a Factory Reset. HOWEVER - I am wondering how to make sure I don't lose my data.

I went into SETTINGS>PRIVACY and "Back up my data" and "Automatic Restore" were all checked. I did this yesterday.

Is it safe now to hit the "Factory Data Reset" and see what happens? Will I lose ALL of my data, including game data, contacts, etc??

You will be fine. All your stuff is saved....

Once you log back into Google everything returns....good luck.
