How to downgrade to factory firmware?

I have a Netgear Miracast v3000 that mirrors my phone to just about everything. Ever since updating the phone from factory version, it no longer sees the device. It seems like Google for some reason has made Miracasting not work so people will use their restrictive chromecast instead. This is retarded. Does anyone know if a downgrade is possible with these phones? Because I would like to go back to the original version. These updates have been nothing but trouble for me and I hate myself for ever clicking that "update" button in hopes my phone was actually going to work "better"

1. Any phone can flash an earlier version of the ROM (that's been written for it - which evidently is the case for your phone).

I do not think that this is true for any recent Motorola Droid with a locked boot loader. The bootloader itself is usually upgraded to a new version with each Android version update and the bootloader will not allow itself to be installed over with an older version. I am nearly 100% certain that a Turbo 2 with the Marshmallow update cannot be downgraded to Lollipop.

If the phone is a Moto X Force, then I believe that you can, if you unlock the bootloader.
