How to edit list order of telephone numbers or emails within a contact

Any particular contact within the Contacts app may list multiple telephone numbers or email addresses. I would like to be able to edit the list position when adding new numbers or email addresses within that contact. To illustrate, ABC Company has 10 telephone numbers for various staff that are entered in a logical order:
Main 8001234567
Dep 1 8881234444
...
Dep 8 8881234555.

Later, Dep 2 gets a fax line or after hours number, or new salesperson, or... and using the Contacts app requires that this new Dep 2 number be listed in sequence after Dep 8, which is not logical.

Also, outside of business there could be reasons for the ability to change the list position.

I have seen this query worded variously within many forums, both Apple and Android, for years. So there is a demand for such a utility, but after exhaustively searching through different apps, no developer has created a Contact app that could edit the native Google app out offer this as a 3rd party product feature. Any ideas?

Are you referring To that, when a new contact is created, we're only enable
to add one - Mobile and one Home phone numbers - Same with Emails

but Add phone numbers to Main Dept. - Dep1: Dep2,.etc : cannot be Done
I understand there's Not app available..To sort it in that sequential order
