How to email groups...

So I have a group set up in my contact list but can't seem to send a group email using the gmail app or generic email app. Is jelly bean unable to send group emails?

Any suggestions?

I'm surprised no one has responded. What's the point of setting up group Contacts if you can't do anything with them?

This is driving me crazy I can do it on my S3 but on my Nexus 10 I can see my groups and edit them, but noway to email the group!
I can find an answer anywhere.

This is one of those things where it is not part of Vanilla Android. So it cannot be done with the stock software on any Nexus device. Other devices that can do it are a result of custom software written by that OEM.

I don't think you'll find anyone who doesn't want this, but Google hasn't provided a stock solution.
