I tried screen zoom and fonts size to enlarge the icons and clock of the status bar but no joy
It's a pity to see 6.8'' of screen but such a tiny space for the status bar

If I'm not mistaken there is no stock way to change the size of the status bar. Perhaps in Developer Options... maybe. You'd have to unlock developer options or know someone with it unlocked to see if that is an option. Even if it is I would imagine that it might make the bar thicker but may not change the content size. So a thicker bar but the same size clock and icons???

If it is truly important to you I wonder if a launcher might do it? They have several modifications and tweaks that they can do, something like Nova perhaps.

Good Lock has a variety of UI customization options, but I don't know whether that's among therm.

I hope Task Changer becomes available for us to use soon in Good Lock. You can always increase the font size. I'm pretty sure that will make it easier to see.

Thanks
I remember back when I had the S10+ that I could make the status bar contents larger by using a custom larger font, but I think it was a OneUI custom rom with added fonts included. I guess I will have to root once ''Beyond Rom'' has additional fonts , meanwhile the May update will be available and if there was any hardware factory fault I will detect it by then (warranty wise)

I've no idea if it will work, but you can add custom fonts with hex installer from the play store. No need to root or ROM.

Welcome to Android Central, and thanks for the suggestions!
