How to find files saved on Home Screen, from device storage tree?

Trying to figure out how to get to a folder that shows all the files/applications on the homescreen, similar to the "Desktop" folder in Windows.

Maybe they're only short cuts and thats why there is no folder, but just looking for answers.

The homescreen is different from the Windows Desktop in that you can't save any actual files on the homescreen--it's all just shortcuts (or widgets).
