How to find out the date of manufacture?

Hey guys,

I'm new to these forums, so sorry if I'm asking an already-answered question or breaking any protocols. I did my due diligence by searching for the answer, both on Google and on these forums, but I couldn't find a satisfactory response. So... with recent changes in legislation on the legality of unlocking phones, I needed to see if my HTC One X+ was manufactured before or after January 26th, 2013. I have a problem, though. I do not have the box corresponding to my current One X+ because AT&T replaced my phone, but did not give me the box that goes with it. So, I have my old box, but a newer phone. Is there some way I can determine my phone's exact date of manufacture via an app or by interpreting some sort of number on the back of the case?

Thanks in advance.

Power off the phone ,hold the volume down button in then push power button and hold lights will flash a bout twelve times. A screen should come up then with wording on the left side with "locked" in red at the top, read down and see a date that should be the date the os was loaded. That screen is called the bootloader scroll down to "reboot" with the volume down button then push the power button and it should reboot
