How to fix Sleep mode on LG Stylo 2?

[Android Central Question]

I know this is an old phone and everything, but plz help. My lg stylo 2 will go to sleep and i cant turn it on/off unless its on the charger, then it will automatically get out of sleep mode, and when i take my battery out, it resets, and i can use the sleep mode on/off again, but after awhile it happens again

Welcome to Android Central! Are you sure it isn't just powering off when you unplug it? If so, then the battery is probably failing -- you'd have to get the battery replaced, but for a phone that old, it's probably not worth the effort.

About $14-16 on Amazon. I've seen worse, but it's definitely getting long in the tooth.

Oh, I forgot that the phone has a removable battery! So I agree, it's worth a shot getting a replacement battery.
