Welcome to Android Central! According to the specs, the Verizon Note 4 only supports LTE bands 4 and 13: Samsung Galaxy Note 4 (Verizon), Charcoal black. AT&T uses band 4, but it primarily uses band 17, and band 4 isn't particularly strong in many areas. So your phone may not be able to get reliable 4G LTE reception where you are--you may just have to rely on HSPA+, which is usually reasonably fast, but nowhere near as fast as LTE.
