How to get Alarm on home screen Note 9?

I have a Note 9.
I was able to place the alarm widget on the home-screen (by tapping on an empty space on the home screen, choosing widgets, and searching for "alarm").

But the alarm widget, when I place it on the home screen - does not display the alarm time I set; the widget only shows a rectangle with text saying "tap here to set alarm".

I also placed the digital clock widget on the home screen - but as expected, it only displays the time; not the alarm.

Is it possible to have the alarm time displayed on the home screen, Note 9?

Click on tap here to set alarm. All your alarms should come up . Click the one you want and it will show the alarm time.if you don't already have any alarms saved then you have to create it.

If the "4:00 PM" is an alarm - yes that is what I want.
But I can find a way to place that or something like that on the home screen.

When you place the alarm widget on your homescreen click the tap here to create alarm. All your alarms should show up.just click the one you want. If you have no alarms already created then you have to create one.

I'm using the Google clock as my alarm. Mostly because the alarm function can be set to play from a play list in Spotify as your wakeup music. It also shows next alarm on its clock widget.

I used to use that one because I could dismiss my alarm at anytime instead of at a minute before the alarm goes off, but when I started using the app on this phone it wouldnt alarm some days . Has it been updated recently?

Not sure if it's been updated but I've had no issues with it working properly. And you're correct, being able to turn the alarm off from the shade can be very convenient sometimes.
