Hi all,

I just got a new galaxy S3 on Verizon. I am able to get audible notification for texts ( beeps every two minutes).. Di this through settings menu. I also can get notifications for e-mail by opening my e-mail and then pressing menu button on bottom and going to settings. I cannot for the life of me figure out how to get notified of a missed call or voicemail. I called voicemail as some suggest and go to option 4 and you can turn notification on and off. It is set on. No where else on the phone under settings ( even opened the voicemail app) does it allow you to turn any noitifications on for voicemail. This is disturbing in that I have to keep checking the phone to see if I have a voicemail. Anyone know how to do this. I used to have cheap tracfone that always notified you of a missed call and voicemail. Thx

Strange - the LED on my phone always blinks when I've missed a call and gotten a voicemail. I think it vibrates if I pick it up as well.

Do you have Settings -> Motion -> Smart alert checked?
What about Settings -> Display -> LED indicator -> Notifications?
In the Phone app, look at Menu button -> Call settings -> Vibrate (in the Voicemail section)
