How to get Cailibre to recognize Nexus 7

When I plug in my Nexus Calibre doesn't seem to see it. How do I get Calibre to send epubs to internal storage.

I also notice that when attached to my PC I can see internal storage and move items from my PC to it but I cannot create a new folder like I can with a file manager app on the Nexus. Is this blocked somehow?

I've used Calibre in the past with an old Amazon Kindle so after reading your post I decided to see if it would recognise my Nexus 7. Sure enough as soon as I launched Calibre it found my Nexus -

Under "Devices" at the top it then allows me to configure various options and confirms it's recognised the Nexus -

I'm not sure why it's not recognising yours though.

Thanks I found if you go to preferences there is a section for ignored devices and my Nexus was checked to not recognize. I should be good to go now I have unchecked it.
