Every once in awhile, I try to watch a video from the net on my phone. It tells me that I need to install Flash Player and provides a link. When I get to the button that says DOWNLOAD, it just hangs there and never installs.
Anybody know how to get it to install?

Flash doesn't work and KitKat... Can still find browsers I believe that have it embedded

I think you can side load it. Make sure you have the permission enabled in settings to do it.

Just install Dolphin Browser for flash. Firefox is a bloated pig on the phone.

There's a way to still do Flash on the HTC phone. From Internet Explorer (IE), press on: menu/options, then settings, then tap advanced, then check on 'Enable JavaScript', then tap 'Enable plug-ins' and set it to ALWAYS. Don't forget to switch your view mode to full screen/Desktop Mode.

From here, it will work, but keep in mind, you DO have to play around with the play buttons and tap/double tap the screen. It might be slow, it might not load, it may do something opposite from what you wanted to do with the video(s). At least your not stopped with an error message!

I did test some things out. Playing videos, say from VEVO won't work the way I explained, as actual Flash will need to be installed. Then again, there's the VEVO app, so any other videos are good to go.
