How to get gmail to push.

I've had my N1 since May, and didnt need any of my gmail accounts to push my emails. Since school started I need them to be pushed. How do i go about changing the setting to have my Emails pushed?

It should push by default unless you've either set it not to or configured it in such a way that doesn't support push (e.g. POP). Can you provide details on your gmail settings?
