how to get hotspot working on lg grace 4G LTE

[Android Central Question]

since getting LG Grace 4G LTE the hot spot has always worked. now in just last 2-3 weeks i can turn it on, have devices connect to it, but when those devices connect to internet, there is no internet access.i haven't changed any settings and i am about to back up everything one last time and do a factory reset. what will fix it so i don't have to do the factory reset?

Welcome to Android Central! Is there any conflict between your hotspot's name and any nearby hotspot? See what happens if you change your hotspot's SSID.

Have you also checked with your carrier? There is usually a monthly limit to how much you're allowed to tether, so is it possible you might have reached your monthly limit?
