How to get more control over LED notifications

I would like to be able to disable LED flashing for some notifications, but still get the notifications in the quick launch bar.

I'd also like to disable the LED altogether when the phone is in "do not disturb" mode.

Is this possible?

I've found the LED flashing on the S7 to be somewhat annoying, especially at night when the phone is at my bedside.

There's an app for that. You can turn off the notification light in settings and let the app control them. The name of the app escapes me at the moment

I use Liteflow on my G4. It should work on the S7 as there was a new update just released for it specifically for the S7 and Edge.
