Android Central Question

Hi guys. I'm using my phone for music playback due to current lack of computer and I mean long tracks like 5-6 hours when going to bed. I tend to calculate how much playback will be available given the battery amount (I've noticed an hour costs about 10%) so the battery is not totally drained which as far as I guess would kill it in no time. Yet sometimes I happen to forget to do it or miscalculate. I've been having this phone for 3 months and that's already the 2nd or 3rd time I find the battery completely empty. In Windows laptops the power options provided it shuts down or hibernates when battery drops to 7 or 10%. Yet in the battery settings submenu in Android I didn't find such an option. Why is that, have Android developers really not thought of such basic thing or is it me unable to find it in thr menu? My phone is Huawei, if it matters.

There is a low battery mode, for which you can set the battery charge percentage at which it engages, and at which certain phone functions will not work. It's normally undesirable to have the phone power off at any percentage, since phones are communication devices, unlike PCs.
Powering off automatically occurs at very low charge levels, but that is necessary to protect the battery.

Is it possible for you to leave it plugged into a charger overnight then it would not deplete the battery and you would have a full charge for the next day?
