how to get out of fastboot mode

My friend has a coolpad 3300a unrooted and after trying to hard reset it a "fastboot mode" sceen came up. Now it is unresponsive and stuck on that screen. When he brought it to me I took the battery out, replaced it and it immediately showed the "fastboot mode" screen again. What is the problem and is there a way to correct it. thanx

You would have to find, download, and fastboot flash stock firmware through command prompt.
