How to get quick charge on lg g4?

Is the only way with the flip folio case? Or can you buy an alternate backing and still put in otterbox?

For quick charge you just need a quick charger. The stock one is not a quick charger. You will have to purchase one or use one from another phone that came with a quick charger.

Wireless charging is what requires a different back or a sticker in the back.

Best bet is try Ebay and not sure if the ones to which you are referring to would work with a case.

I doubt it. I put a Otterbox-esqe case on my N7 and it's a no go. Depending on your carrier, you are looking for Amazon or eBay with about two weeks for shipping. I got one that claims to work with the AT&T model, so I am hoping for good news

buy qi ribbon from ebay. noticed that my G4 has to be turned bottom up to charge on my wireless mat, though my wife and daughters galaxy s6 doesnt. (not face down have phone on its back and rotate to where bottom of phone is at top of charging mat)

Not all G4. Double SIM model doesn't have provision for wireless charging. Only single SIM but ensure it has proper charge receiving coil at the back case. There will be 4 pins - two for NFC and other 2 for wireless charging.

Go for QualCom 2.0 certified charger. Anker, Aukey, Tronsmart are well known brands. Understand Tronsmart is OE supplier to leading brands and their accessories like micro USB charging cable are as per norms whereas others do compromise on quality.

Not really the answer you're looking for but why not just pop in a fresh battery. Taking advantage of one the best features of this phone is super convenient. 0-100 in seconds.
