How to get rid of Flipboard?

My S6 has an entire page taken up by some thing called Flipboard.

How to get rid of it?

Hold down on the screen on home page as though you were trying to place a widget. Swype over to the flipboard page. Uncheck the box

My reply vanished? I'll try again...

That kills the entire page or screen, not just the app.

Happily it seems you can create new screens, though the home screen is no longer in the middle.
