Suddenly in the last few days I have been getting an audio announcement every time I turn my phone on, connect, or disconnect my charger saying my that charger is (connected or disconnected) and that my battery has X amount of charge remaining.
This is incredibly annoying and I cannot find any way of silencing it. I am often on my phone, with and/or without my charger while my wife is asleep. I can't mute my phone completely because I could get an emergency call or text. A voice telling me that my charge is complete is not what I call an emergency. I also am frequently in places where I would not want a loud digital voice to disturb people just because I hook or unhook my portable battery extender.
There must be a way to silence this! Please help.
