How to get rid of the OTA notification???

Ok, I have a rooted EVO, so I don't want the OTA update (and since they are having issues with the WIMAX radio, I don't want to update my ROM just yet...)

I am getting an annoying notification that says "System Update is Available, Tap to Download".

Is there a way of getting rid of it? I don't want to start the update by mistake when viewing other notifications....

menu>settings>system updates>htc software update> UNCHECK Scheduled check.

If you want to get rid of them for good:

adb shell
mount -o remount,rw -t yaffs2 /dev/block/mtdblock4 /system
cd /system/etc/security
mv otacerts.zip otacerts.zip.old
