I see a lot of people complaining about the home screen but it seems it can be customized. Does anyone know how you can get it to look like this?

Where did you get the image from? It looks like it comes from a youtube video.

Now, to your questions, it looks like the person has launcher installed on their phone so I guess that's how they got it looking that way. I hope this helps!

It's a launcher app in the market called Launcher Pro, and the widget on the top looks like beautiful widgets.

Wow, now that I can see the pictures, boy does that look nice! I'm slapping on a different launcher immediately...or maybe after I check out the stock launchers first: Touchwiz and stock Android.

anyone else notice the nexus one looks much brighter than the Epic, when the EPIC has a better screen, is it just brightness thats up?

Ive been saying since people were complaining about the lack of Touchwiz features that they should download Launcher Pro.

Downloading Launcher Pro will be the first thing I do when I get the phone. Touchwiz wont even be used for more than 5 minutes by me.

If you are looking for a different homescreen, Launcher Pro or ADW Launcher are amazing and I recommend people look at videos on youtube to show how great they look as well as the speed they run at.

That does look much better :D
Hmm...I'm gonna have to go look at it after I take the Torch back.

Hmmm.. I was thinking ADW myself.. Haven't used LP for awhile though, so it might look different.

And yep, that's Beautiful Widgets on top!

I think I'll try some of them out first, but at the moment, I'll probably go with LauncherPro.

How much of TouchWiz (why do I chuckle everytime I hear that :p) is covered up/hidden when LauncherPro or something similar is used?
