Retrieving texts from a phone stuck at red eye

My Droid Razr M died a while ago, stuck at the red eye. I tried to soft reset and factory reset, but everything gets stuck on the red eye.

I just switched to the Samsung GS5, and restored some of my saved texts from an external app (SMS Backup & Restore). What I hadn't realized is not all my texts backed up.

I still have my Razr M - is there any way to retrieve those texts??

Welcome to Android Central! I don't think you'll be able to get anything off the phone if it's stuck on that screen. Have you tried contacting your carrier? I wonder if they can pull any texts from their servers. I've never tried that before, but it's worth asking.
