Android Central Question

Since about 2 days ago, every time I pick up a ringing phone, the ring tone changes to vibrate (somewhat resembling the behavior of a wasp). How can I stop the phone from doing this?

Answers to posts here <https://forums.androidcentral.com/samsung-galaxy-s6-edge/548428-vibration-buzz-when-i-pick-up-phone.html> and here <https://forums.androidcentral.com/ask-question/684339-where-do-i-find-motions-gestures-turn-off.html> have not helped me (either they are out of date or I need more detail).

Thank you,
Mike

Hello. I have a Motorola Z Droid running Android 8.0.0.
Welcome to the forums. Do you mean that the ringtone stops when you pick up the phone before attending the call? If so, find the Moto app in your drawer, select Moto Actions and make sure that 'Pick up to silence' is switched off.

Yes. That worked. Thank you very much.

(In case anyone else hasn't pulled up the list of all apps in a while, the list no longer has an icon on the main screen, you get to the "drawer" by swiping up or touching the up arrow ^ near the bottom of the screen.)

Glad it helped and thanks for the follow up!
