How to improve APP visibility on Google Play?

Hi everyone,

I’m a solo and amateur developer, and I recently released my first Android app, an educational math strategy game called "Math Strategist".
To help promote the game, I also applied for Google Play Teacher Approved program, and it was approved as well.

Now I’m facing a different problem: almost nobody can find the game.
If I search Google Play using broad terms like “math” or “strategy”, the game doesn’t show up. Most of the downloads so far are from friends and family.

Is there any way to increase the app’s visibility?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
