Hello my name is Keith. I'm new here, and generally new to cell phones in general. I was looking for a way to improve my signal online and in particular several searches here in android central. I'm not interested in strength compared to others, nor have I experienced any major problems. My problem is that I'm simply just out of range of the cell tower so I only get about 2 bars. I mean *just* out of range, like the coverage map shows, just a street over and the signal is good. We basically removed our broadband internet in favor of the mobility of cell phones.
Trying to find out if there are external antenna's we can buy or make, but it seems like there's no way to attach an antenna of any kind to the g3. I've looked at various signal boosters, but they require you mount something on the outside of your house and bring it in, in order to rebroadcast over a room or several rooms. Or you can get a car one. These boosters are usually pretty expensive, so am wondering if there's a cheaper alternative. I tried the 'signal boosting' apps and they don't seem to do much so I'm stuck there.
So does anyone have any ideas? Thank you very much for reading.
