How to increase text size?

Is there a way to get a larger section of the screen for typing txt messages. Running 5.1 on Droid Turbo

Verizon's Messenger+ is totally configurable including, multiple font selection as well as size. IMHO, the best app Verizon has offered to date.

Bugger, I'm in New Zealand and although I have a Verizon phone, I'm not on their platform.

under display settings you can increase text size.. also under accessibility ..
