How to install custom ROM on AT&T Galaxy S4 4.3 UCUEMK2?

I am new to the rooting and custom ROM world. I have a i337-SGH ATT Galaxy S4 running 4.3 ucuemk2 build. Successfully rooted the device with Saferoot. When I try to get into Clockworkmod recovery mode, my phone does not just listen. It always takes me to the default android recovery mode.

Would be glad if someone could explain how I can install Carbon ROM on my device? Thanks!

You can install CyanogenMod with their new app program thing. Less hassle and you won't break anything

I have the same phone. The bootloader is locked. We cannot install custom roms. Well, we can run additional roms with safestrap, and they can only be touchwiz based roms. I haven't tried it but this is what I think the current situation is for our phone. Thank you AT&T.

This. Safestrap with touchwiz based roms is the only option right now for at&t and verizon S4s.

Safe strap is a recovery of sorts it's a boot strap you can only flash touch wiz based roms because if the kernel isn't signed it won't boot and you'll most likely brick it

Yes you are correct you need com or twrp (not the safe strap addition totally differant) you cannot flash cyanogen you cannot flash aosp Google play additions ALL YOU CAN FLASH IS SAFE STRAP ADDITION ROMS AND TOUCH WIZ BASED 4.3 ANY THINK ELSE AT THE MOMENT WILL MOST LIKELY BRICK YOUR DEVICE DEFINATLY TRIP YOUR KNOX COUNTER AND PERNAMENTALLY VOID YOUR WARRANTY YOU WILL BE LEFT WITHOUT A BRICK DEVICE YOU MIGHT AS WELL USA UT AS A PAPER WEIGHT BECAUSE YOU WILL KILL YOUR PHONE THE ONLY WAY YOU GET A NOT HER ONE IS INSURANCE WHITE WILL BE 200 AND OUT WRITE BUY THE PHONE FOR 650 WHICH I WOULD BUY A GOOGLE ADDITION AND YOU CAN FLASH WHAT EVERYTHING THE HE'LL YOU WANT ON IT
