Android Central Question

I am doing transcription work on my Android phone. Part of the process involves using a mouse to draw boxes around certain words. When I zoom into the document to make the word readable, the mouse cursor and the lines it draws grow greatly in size, as you might expect. Is there a way to keep the mouse cursor and lines small, independent of the zooming? I need to be able to draw thin lines with the mouse so that the lines don't cover neighboring words and it's clear which words have boxes drawn around them. Thanks!

I'm thinking this is not possible...

You're zooming in and expecting everything to get bigger except the cursor and shape lines which feels like, zooming a picture and wanting everything to get bigger but not the bird in the foreground. It doesn't/can't distinguish different objects in its zoom window to say this gets bigger and this stays the same. If you look at MS Word, when you zoom the page, the cursor marker and object lines both get bigger but if you draw a box around something and then return the doc to 100% or less everything shrinks with it. Are you not able to draw your boxes and have everything return to normal when you zoom out?

What app are you using when this happens?

Have you tried changing the zoom in the app so that everything already appears larger? Maybe if dealt with at full size the zoom factor wouldn't be an issue.

When you draw boxes at a higher zoom level, they don't reduce in size when zoomed out?

When zoomed in do the lines and cursor block/cover letters or characters?

Welcome to Android Central! Which phone? Does it by any chance have a built-in stylus? If so, can you use that instead of a mouse?
