So I purchased a song on Google but I don't see any option to make it a ringtone?

Install Zedge from the play store and look for the song as a ringtone. They have more than you can imagine for free.

Doesn't look like Ringdroid will do it, at least not with any song that I've marked for download to my device.

If you jump through the hoops of downloading it as an mp3 file on your computer and then transfer that file to your device Ringdroid should be able to work on it then.

Just use Audacity on the computer to do it. That's what I do. Then you can do fade in and fade out for the ringtone. Or other audio adjustments. Audacity is the best free audio editor for Windows.

I think copy write laws prevent you from messing with music files purchased on Google play, it happens with a number of online music stores.
