How to make my EVO 3D faster?

Back when I first purchased my EVO 3D (back in December; about 3 1/2 months ago) it was very fast, but now I notice it slowing down a bit (nothing major, but still a pain sometimes none the less) and also the touch keyboard sometimes will go haywire. I was just wondering you guys/gals recommend I do to make it faster? Should I do a reset? But if I do, will it erase EVERYTHING (photos, contacts, Facebook account, apps, etc)?!? Because I do not want that to happen, that would be my last resort! Thanks everyone in advance.

Is there any way to see the total amount of apps you have?

You don't have to reset the phone. just uninstall the apps that you can do without. Clean cache and move all moveable app to your sd card. This can be done by going into SD & phone storage, then make more space.

As for doing a 'reset' on the device, you won't lose your pics, or music unless you check the box "erase sd card," when doing a factory reset. This will clear all data stored on the phone: password, username, applications. You can reinstall all your paid and free applications back on the device.

If you don't want to root, I would try nemus launcher. It is designed to run fast and let me tell you, it does! I've been running it for a month now and love it. Clear unused apps out or move them onto the SD card. For a fast internet browser I would recommend boat browser. For SMS I would try pansi SMS. The combination of all these has made it so my 3vo use a lot less ram than the stock apps.
