I installed an sd card but I don't see how to make sure my photos are saved to it?

I believe once you open your camera app, and it recognizes there's a card in your phone, it will ask if you want to store your photos there.

Hmm I dont recall seeing that. Maybe I should take it out and install it again?

Take a picture with your camera, then go to the Gallery to view your picture albums. If the photo was saved to the internal memory, you will see a camera icon on the thumbnail of that gallery. If it was saved to your SDcard, you will see a camera icon, as well as a SDcard icon.

You could also get a file explorer such as https://forums.androidcentral.com/e...go.astro&feature=search_result&token=HOVpbj0M Astro File Manager, and check for a DCIM folder, under extSdCard.

The OP can also use the file explorer app called My Files that comes pre-installed if they didn't want to download a 3rd party app.
Pictures that are taken and saved to the internal memory will be located in the folder called Images.
To see photos that are taken and stored on the external memory the user would select All files > extSdCard >DCIM > Camera

That is a real easy way to check. Thanks!
