How to make video mashups like Google + Auto Awesome or HTC Zoe

I've had a HTC One since last May and loved it, but I had to send it in for warranty repairs 3x so my carrier (Rogers) said they would send me a new device...they were out of One's so I took the S4 instead.

So far I love the phone, but the one thing I can't find an app for is to make videos similar to HTC's Zoe's where it takes all of your pics/videos from an event and makes a mash-up you can share. I know Google+ has this feature but only for certain phones and the S4 is not one of them.

Any suggestions?

Google+ Auto Awesome works for the S4 as long as you have it auto-upload feature on in the app. You can also create your own video using the Photos app that Google packages in its G+ app.

This is the part I'm trying to do (create my own videos) - but I don't think it works with S4 - following the video instructions @ Creating Auto Awesome Videos in the new Google Photos app | Android Central - my Google Photo's app doesn't give me the option to "Create Video"

The auto awesome create video feature is only available on Android 4.4

That's also not true.

I have an Nexus 5 with android 5.0, and there's no option for make videos, just Mix and story.

The same happend with my HTC Oe m8 and android 4.4.4. there is no option for movies.

This is really disappointing.
