Hi, I'm new here and I've searched and did not see this anywhere, so I hope its not a repost. I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 with WiFi and it is running the ICS os. It only has 8 gb internal memory with only 4 gb of that is available for apps. I installed a 32 gb micro sd card but I am not able to move any of the apps (like Angry Birds/Kindle/Nook etc) over to the sd card. Any ideas why?? I have a Samsung Conquer phone with an older version of Android and I can very easily move the apps to the sd card on that. So, I am just confused LOL... Any help or suggestion would be appreciated. THANKS!

Samsung has blocked it on Tabs and S3. Even Apps2SD doesn't work. It is not a major concern if u use ur sd for media storage.

Hi G Money 713,

I am also using Tab 2 10.1, so, means beside documents, media files, APPS are not able to be moved to SD?

Is your Tab rooted? Can the Apps2Sd function after rooted?

Thank you

Regards,
Nicholas

Can't move any apps. I have not rooted my tab yet. I probably will once a stable Jelly Bean romantic is released. I cannot say if Apps2SD will work on rooted devices will work, but it won't on non rooted.

There's another online forum which explain this issue as Samsung locked down the OS so that you can Not transfer the apps to the SD card.

You could buy the 64Gb MicroSD card to expand your storage, though.
It worked for me!
