How to move SMS/MMS over from Windows Lumia 950 to new Samsung S8

Hello,

Been a windows phone user for the last 6 years and I finally made the switch to Android and am on AT&T. I've tried using the Setup and Transfer app from AT&T and the Samsung Smart Switch (both USB cable and Wi-Fi) and neither work. I was able to move my contacts over by importing them from Outlook. What I am still having issues with is moving my text messages from my L950 to the S8. Any help and tips would be greatly appreciated!

Oh, and I've noticed that my S8 also keeps disconnecting from my car's Bluetooth (2012 BMW 328i). Very annoying. Any help with that would also be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance!

I used the first one to transfer SMSes for two phones. It has no have limits in number of messages but does not handle MMS. Python 2.7 must be installed for processing (can be removed afterwards)
