Can you open up multiple apps at the same time? And run them together? How do you switch between the sceens if you can?

If you are thinking about how the Palm Pre has pages for multiple apps it does not work that way with Android. You can multitask with Android simply by opening a app, say Pandora, hit the home button while music is playing and you can open up another app... to get back to Pandora simply swipe the notification bar down and tap Pandora. To get back to the previous app simply hit the back button.

Hope this helps a bit.

Like he said, its not as slick as the Pre, but just opening one, then hitting the home button and hitting the other causes both programs to stay in memory.

Switching back and forth is pretty quick.

Just be aware that any task killing programs like automatic task killer will wipe both out of memory if the phone goes to sleep.

You can also press and hold the Home key and it will allow you to easily switch back and forth between open/running apps. It's similar to the Alt+Tab feature in Windows.

Thats what I have been doing. If I want maps and trapster open, I open 1 then close it and open the other then just switch them that way, once it is stored in memory. Kinda a pain wish i could open them at the same time, oh well maybe 1 of the updates will allow that.
