How to OTA update properly?

Will an Android update (if there is one) through OTA be automatically pushed to my phone (meaning ill get a notification automatically)? Or do i have to go into System updates and press on "Update Firmware"? (or is it "Update Android"?)

Could be both... Your probably going to have to wait for the OTA notification because from my understanding when they do push it out OTA it goes out in waves and slowly filters itself down threw the system taking hours, days or even a week... So even though they say its released and you try to update by means of manually activating the update feature if its not pushed to say your "area" sorta speak then its not going to respond back with anything.
