I have a Galaxy Tab 4 (and an S4 Mini,) I have installed ES File Explorer, but I do not know how to get the music programs to acknowledge the network instead of looking for music on the internal hard drive.

I want to use the Tab as an interface with my stereo to play the music on my WD iCloud.

Please help!!!

Thank you;

In ES File Explorer, press the LAN icon (the 3rd one in the row of 4 right under the phone's notification pulldown - it's a little computer monitor). Then you can find any file that's shared on your network. (If you're using iCloud n a computer, you have to share iCloud to the network to find it on another device on the network.)

If you mean WD My Cloud, try https://forums.androidcentral.com/e...details?id=com.wdc.wd2go&hl=en&token=r-INDlQq

Thank you Rukbat. I've found the folder I was looking for, I don't know how to get the contents to show up on a media player that allows me to do searches, view music, etc.

All of the music apps I have found look for internal music, without giving me the ability to change the folder to look in.
