How to play my recordings on Google Home

[Android Central Question]

I recorded budgie bird sounds and stored them on my networked media storage device. I am going on holidays and would like to play them several times a day to keep my bird company. What Google Home command can I use?

Google Home doesn't play locally-stored media files. They have to be uploaded to Google Play Music first.
