How to play YouTube audio in background?

Is there any way to have YouTube audio keep playing even if you leave the app?

The only other way I know of is using MX Browser in Desktop mode and playing YouTube videos from there while multitasking.

Youtube actually has this in the works. They know that people use their video service for music and probably just need to work out how they'll still be making the same amount of money from advertising if they can't guarantee that you're watching the screen.

I'm guessing this has something to do with QNX being a real time OS?
