Question How to prevent images from the secure folder from appearing in Samsung Messages attachment screen?

This question was posted in 2017 by another user, without a satisfactory answer. Its been this way for years now... I have photos I've taken and put into my secure folder. However, when I go to attach a photo to send a text, they ALL show up - and are available to be attached to a text.

I did searching in the interwebs, and I've been through my phone settings quite a bit.

I don't see that on mine (just tried with a picture, checked to see it was there in Messages, moved it to Secure Folder, and it disappeared from the picker). Are you certain these images aren't saved elsewhere in the unsecured portion of the phone as well? When this happens, is Secure Folder locked? Are you using the Messages app IN the unsecured section or is this the 'secured' app version? (The latter does have access to both portions).
