My dad bought the new LG Thrive for my birthday, but I'm tired of going to Youtube and constantly searching for the music I want. But, I don't know how to put the SD card into my laptop, a Toshiba. Can anyone help? And are there other ways to put music in my phone?

Yes. Keep your micro SD card in phone and mounted. Plug the charge/data cable to phone and USB on computer. The phone should promp USB debugging. If not you will need to turn it on thru settings- applications-development. The comp should see a (new) removable storage device. You should then be able to drag and drop music to it from a program ie iTunes, media player, or from your comps music folder.

I agree with LifesGoodPhoenix but I had issues with my phone and drivers so if you can't get your computer to take the USB route, get and Flash Media reader. There are some out there that can read MicroSD but most don't you need an adapter to go from MicroSD to SD. I think you can pick one up from Walmart for around 20$ and that comes with a MicroSD card. Then all you do is power down the phone take the back off and carefully remove the MicroSD. Pop it in the reader once its recognized just drag and drop.
